The sun is shinning the weather is sweet....makes me want to move my dancing feet!

Just created this blog to tell you all what a great place Jamaica is, I am so blessed to live on this Island. That's why I created this blog to keep you posted on what's poppin' in JamRockin.
I am a fashion designer by profession, and had a very successful clothing line called MIJAN.
Now I work in Film as an Art Director/Costume Designer/Stylist and have had the best time creating the looks and images of some of the greatest Jamaican recording artists like Sean Paul, Shaggy, Damien Marley and Toots Hibbert. I love my career, I have great friends and a very supportive family.
I also love this Island..it is more than a beach, it is a crazy beautiful Country, with warm and spirited people, who constantly make me laugh..Jamaican have the greatest sence of humour (not to mention the worst curse words ever uttered)
I want to take you on my journey, as I know the coolest places to stay, the best roadside food, and the hippest night clubs in Kingston..oh did I mention, I live in the BIG BAD city.
Kingston is the best kept secret, we purposely tell you that it is a dangerous place so that tourist will be discouraged and stay on the beaches on the north coast, but actually no tourist has ever been killed here, as far as I know, just be careful I say, like any other urban town.. stay away from dark allies and scary characters.
So, I will keep you posted as to my very cool life here and turn you onto stuff I really like.
